a little intro

Chip & Co programs include a range of woodworking skills and cater for beginner to intermediate levels. Experienced Primary School teachers facilitate the program and focus on fine motor skills, creativity and play. Chip & Co programs operate after school where children follow a step by step program, create their own personalised projects and most of all, have fun!

The program

Chip & Co teaches students woodworking whilst developing fine motor skills in a tech-free, creative, social, and non-competitive environment. We focus on traditional woodworking without electrical tools.

The program focuses on face-to-face education in accordance with the Australian Curriculum to enhance students’ numeracy and literacy knowledge.

Chip & Co programs are structured to enable students to learn a new skill every week during the different stages of their projects.

The materials

Program fees include all materials and safe access to woodworking tools.

The Chip & Co supply has fresh additions on a regular basis - with new theme and project options each term.

Our designs are made exclusively for Chip & Co by founder and teacher Jane Potter.

Chip & Co’s woodworking wonderland includes a range of wood selections, nails, screws, coils… and the list goes on! 75% of our wood is from recycled pieces and off-cuts that we reuse and repurpose.

Our woodworking programs are bringing back woodworking with a modern twist!
We welcome your kids to enjoy a break from technology in our calm and playful space.
